Bridgeway's Green Battery SystemTM
Today, renewable energy sources have one major issue, they lack the energy storage capability essential to balance their power generation with the user’s demand. Bridgeway’s Green Battery System will integrate intermittent power sources (IPS), such as solar and wind power, with an array of batteries and a grid-tie intelligent inverter. The system will use all the energy available from the IPS in combination with the energy available from the grid, as well as that stored in the Green Battery System. The system controller will also be capable of Peak Shaving by using energy from the Green Battery™ to cut user demand on the grid. The Green Battery System will be programmed so that it can load share and manage multiple storage devices in parallel under control of the Green Battery Master System Controller.
Bridgeway will demonstrate these capabilities at a never-before-attained cost/performance that will allow renewable power sources to be totally independent of and cost competitive with grid power. It will have a transformational market impact and provide the missing link for the renewable energy market.
