Bridgeway Systems was formed in 1996 in anticipation of a real need for an automated legacy software transformation service. With the year 2000 fast approaching, it was clear that many organizations of all sizes were not yet properly educated regarding the potential damage associated with the "Year 2000 Bug", and Bridgeway was planning on playing a significant role in solving that problem. Bridgeway Systems pioneered a new, entirely automated solution to the "Year 2000 Crisis" called "Automated Program Factory". Bridgeway's completely automated conversion process produced a cost-efficient, higher-quality, faster and date-predictable result. Our experience in computing technologies includes building the world's most challenging information systems. After solving the Y2K problem, Bridgeway applied its automated knowledge-based transformation technology to Legacy Systems Transformation, re-engineering, and help companies deal with the issue of migrating their legacy applications systems into the 21st century.
